This is not an art class.
You’re not here to learn how to paint.
You’re here because something in you is asking for attention.
Maybe you’re tired of holding it together.
Maybe you’re used to being the one who holds space for everyone else.
Maybe you feel disconnected from what you want, or unsure how to express what you feel.
Here, art becomes the doorway — not the destination.
As you create, you begin to notice how you relate to control, uncertainty, choice, and self-trust. Not by analyzing it, but by experiencing it directly, in your body.
Sometimes that shows up as laughter.
Sometimes frustration.
Sometimes tears.
Often, relief.
You don’t need talent.
You don’t need answers.
You don’t need to know where this is going.
You just need a willingness to show up — and let the process meet you where you are.

"I've never painted before and it was a magic moment to me, where the canvas was my universe, and I dove deeply into it. Wonderful environment, place, music and view. Loved the Experience!"
-Rosalie A.

Step into a mindful creative space where intuition leads the way. Through presence and play, you’ll learn to listen beneath the noise and let your inner wisdom shape what unfolds on the canvas — and in your life.

Sometimes words aren’t enough. Through color, texture, and movement, art becomes a language of the soul — revealing what’s been waiting to be seen, felt, and understood.

Each session invites you into presence — where art, mindfulness, and breath merge. Expect a blend of creative practices like journaling, guided visualization, music, or movement to help you drop out of the mind and into flow.

Creativity is alchemy. When you express without control or expectation, stagnant emotions soften and release, making space for clarity, freedom, and renewed vitality.

These practices calm the nervous system, quiet the inner critic, and reawaken joy. Participants often leave feeling lighter, more centered, and reconnected to their sense of purpose.

Return to the part of you that knows how to play, imagine, and trust life’s flow. Here, art becomes a spiritual mirror — helping you remember who you are beyond roles, expectations, and limitations.
" I usually have a hard time letting go of things, so the Letting Go Art Experience was just what I needed to help me do that in a safe and fun way. Priscila was kind and engaging. I had such a great time!I"
Marie G.

For years, I lived in fear—of not being good enough, and of my art not being good enough. Perfectionism kept me stuck. I rarely finished anything, and over time, I felt disconnected from myself and my creativity.
Then, during a therapy session, I received a message in meditation: “Trust and Let Go.” It felt like a quiet invitation—one I decided to follow by making art with one rule: finish it within a week. No perfection, just presence.
What unfolded was transformative. I began weaving in intention, meditation, journaling, and movement. Each finished piece helped me release fear, reconnect with my soul, and express what words couldn’t.
In 12 weeks, I created more than I had in years—and felt more alive than ever.
This journey became the heart of The Letting Go Art Experience, which I now offer to help others move through creative blocks and into deeper self-connection. As a certified Art Life Coach, I guide others through this process in classes, retreats, and one-on-one sessions.
Whether we meet in my studio on Mare Island, come to one of my retreats at the Lighten Up Retreat, or online, I invite you to reconnect, play, and trust the creative process.

"We all give importance to structure, discipline and commitment, but we have forgotten how just important is child-like play and having time to create for the sake of creating."

Everything Began to Shift:
To Trust and To Let Go.

"I THINK EVERYONE SHOULD PARTICIPATE IN THE LETTING GO EXPERIENCE NO MATTER HOW MUCH THEY HAVE DONE ART IN THE PAST. I WAS SO SURPRISED BY HOW IN THE FLOW I WAS. TIME JUST FLEW BY ME! I'M LOOKING FORWARD TO COMING BACK AGAIN."

You don’t need to be “artistic” to benefit from this experience. This isn’t about talent — it’s about reconnecting with a part of yourself that may have been quiet for too long. Creativity lives in everyone, and this is a safe space to rediscover yours without pressure or judgment.
There’s no such thing here. This experience is about the process, not the product. You’re not trying to make something perfect — you’re allowing yourself to play, express, release, and feel. Often, the most powerful breakthroughs happen when we let go of needing things to look a certain way.
This isn’t a class — it’s a guided experience designed to support your whole being. You’re not being graded or expected to produce. The pace is gentle, the structure is nurturing, and you’re encouraged to come as you are. It’s not about finishing a project — it’s about starting a relationship with your creativity.
Tending to your creative self is not indulgent — it’s restorative. When you give yourself time to express and reconnect, you return to your life more energized, centered, and present. Honoring this part of you isn’t selfish — it’s self-sustaining.
Never unless you want to. This is a safe, supportive space where your process is your own. Some activities may invite gentle collaboration or sharing, but you will never be pressured. You’re always free to create, reflect, and process in the way that feels right for you.
Some sessions include gentle practices like meditation, breath work, or mindful movement to help you connect more deeply with your creative self. When included, these elements will always be listed in the session description so you know exactly what to expect. All activities are optional — you’re always welcome to participate in the way that feels right for you.
That’s exactly why this experience exists — to help you slow down and carve out sacred space for yourself. You don’t need hours and hours. Even a small amount of time, with intention, can feel like a deep exhale and reconnect you to parts of yourself that have been waiting.
Nope. All art materials and supplies will be provided — just bring your beautiful self. You’re welcome to bring a journal or personal objects if they inspire you, but nothing is required. Just come as you are.
We explore a variety of creative forms — from painting with acrylic paints, watercolors, and intuitive mark-making to collage, journaling, or sculpting in clay or paper mache, depending on the session. It’s not about mastering any one medium, but about connecting with your inner self through expression and play.
That’s okay — and actually very natural. Creativity has a way of unlocking hidden emotions. You’ll be held in a safe, compassionate space, and you’ll never be asked to share more than you’re comfortable with. Everything is welcomed, but nothing is forced. You’re also free to take breaks whenever you need — step outside, stretch, get some fresh air, use the restroom — this is your time, and your comfort matters.
