Art Workshop Release – The Letting Go Art Experience

I agree to the following terms and conditions in exchange for my participation in the “The Letting Go Art Experience” art event:

  1. Release Priscila Soares and Mare Island Art Studios from any loss, liability, damage, injury or cost that may arise out of my use of art materials or tools at Mare Island Art Studios and I voluntarily assume the risk and danger of injury using such art materials and tools.
  1. Indemnify and hold harmless Releasees for any loss, liability, damage, injury or cost that may arise out of or in any way connected with my use of art tools and equipment provided or any acts or omission of Releasees.
  2. Understand that Mare Island Art Studios artists may take photographs and/or video during the event and of the event, and that these may be used for marketing, replay for a fee, and/or public relations purposes for the studio in various settings including but not limited to: Facebook, Instagram, Priscila Soares’s website,  Mare Island Art Studios website, flyers, posters, and other promotional materials. I understand that if I wish to be exempt from this, I need to speak with a member of Mare Island Art Studios and make my wishes known in writing in advance of participation of the event.
  3. I understand that all final artworks created at the event will be the property of Priscila Soares and The Letting Go Art Experience Event.
  4. I grant Priscila Soares the irrevocable right to use, reproduce, distribute, publish, display, and create derivative works from my artworks, in whole or in part, in any medium and for any purpose.
  5. I waive all moral rights, including the right to be credited as the author of my artworks.
  6. I understand that I will not receive any compensation for my artworks.
  7. I agree to indemnify and hold Priscila Soares harmless from any and all claims, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or in connection with my artworks.
